People We Can Help

We provide cognitive-linguistic treatment for people who have experienced changes in cognitive or language functioning associated with, but not limited to: 

  • sports-related concussion

  • mild traumatic brain injury

  • illness/infection/disease or treatment (e.g., "chemo brain")

  • stroke

  • aging

We provide academic assistance for students of all ages who: 

  • have difficulty with executive functioning: time management, organization, keeping track of materials/assignments, staying on top of assignments, etc.

  • have difficulty learning and retaining new concepts

  • have reading difficulties

We provide voice therapy for:

  • those who rely heavily on their voices to perform the functions of their jobs (e.g., teachers, performers)

  • those who have experienced abnormal changes in their voices

  • Individuals who are transgender/transexual who wish to alter their voices safely in order to fit their perception of gender appropriate speech.

We provide swallowing therapy for:

  • People experiencing swallowing difficulties secondary to surgery, head and neck cancer, aging, etc.
